Implementation:

This programme was designed to be implemented over a period of 18 months. This will enable participants to not only learn, but also to go and practice and implement what they’ve learned in their communities during the learning process.

It will teach participants about taking responsibility and getting involved when it comes to developing and enhancing their own communities. 

In the first part of the programme we focus a lot on the self-development of the learners, after which they will be trained how to implement the process in the field. They will then go and conduct case studies in-field and will be trained on an accredited Coaching & Mentoring Course. 

The programme includes case studies relevant to the specific community and environment. 

There will be multiple sit-in workshops covering 15 Modules, 2 accredited unit standards, as well as several online sessions. 

We’re aiming at implementing the 10/40/50 methodology, where 10% of the 18 months will be spent on getting together through sit-in workshops, 40% on peer gatherings and online sessions and 50% on self-study and development as well as doing practical work and case studies in the respective communities.
